Can I just say what a MADHOUSE it is at JSP right now? :D Each and every one of us has our plates completely full at the moment, and we'll be spending the next few weeks in various parts of the globe, so our world is a little crazy with so many things going on. Not to mention, David and Casey's wedding is literally right around the corner.  
 
So I felt it was so fitting to completely break the blogging order and share with you their engagement photos! :D You all saw their lovely proposal shoot {HERE} awhile back, so now here is their sweet little love session we did for them in a secret little corner which smelled divinely of lavender, and where the sun kissed the grass with its warm glow til the last minute of the day.

appy hump day everyone! I'm leaving you with a sweet little engagement session shot mostly on film, at one of the prettiest little bungalows I've had the pleasure of visiting, with it's own pool, loft, and everything. All hidden in between the trees so that it's still nothing but peaceful and serene :) I'm sorry I can't write much, as I'm celebrating my 5 year anniversary this week, but I hope these images will leave you warm and fuzzy while I am away! :)

So, its every bit as MAD here at JSP as ever, as we're trying to work through the crazy season. We are wrapping up our year very soon with just handful of shoots left, and a VERY special wedding, so team JSP is super excited for that! 
 
Although, because of the insane workload, I was so sad that I wouldn't be able to find time to blog, but David has kindly storyboarded this next shoot so all of you can enjoy some eye candy while waiting for the next post I make :)  
 
Now, you've all officially met David (one of our official photographers here at JSP) when we shared with you his sweet proposal shoot a couple of weeks back here :)  
 
And we've had alot of requests to share more of the work he has been doing without me. So here is a gorgeous little love shoot he did for Shang and Glori recently :)

Best friends, turned lovers.  
 
It never ceases to amaze me, when I meet two souls who have been the closest of friends for the longest of years, only to discover the spark for each other a little later in life. Maybe it's because I walked down the "love at first sight" path myself, but best friends who fall in love after years of knowing each other and being intertwined in each other's lives has always been a heart warming mystery to me. And a joyful one at that :) Especially for these two.... not only because they are both incredible warm, and kind hearted souls, but because Linda is a dear friend of mine and someone whom I have seen grow up over the years since the early days when we were both just starting out in our photography journey. Yes, you read right, Linda is also a wedding photographer and a talented one at that!! 
 
Which goes to say... it's always a little nerve wracking to put someone who is that good behind your own lense! But I'm thrilled nonetheless, and words cannot express how excited I am to see her get married to such a wonderful man. Thank you for such an incredible privilege guys!! I've said it before, but I'll say it again - You two have a love that encourages, and that is so special :) God is doing amazing things through you both, I just know it :) I know the sun never really did come out for this shoot, but I hope these frames warm your heart and make you smile in the years to come. Team JSP and I can't wait to see you officially seal the deal and become Mr and Mrs!!! :)

Yay! We're finally back peeps!! And with a FULL picture post for you as well :) And a long one at that, to make up for the long long drought that has been hovering over the JSP blog. I've been beyond busy and this year's spring peak season has done more than exhaust me through and through, so I'm really sorry I've been away from the blogosphere... BUT.... I hoep this post makes up for it a tiny little bit :) I'm SO thrilled and excited to introduce this pair to you all... If you remember Sonia and Andy from earlier this year, they got engaged, and then married, and their faces were sprinkled all over this site. Well... now its Sonia's sister's turn - Janice! And, if you are wondering why Janice looks JUST like Sonia - it's because they are twin sisters, and together they make up the amazing musical duo JAYESSLEE :) For those that are unfamiliar with Jayesslee, they have taken the world by storm this past year and have such a huuuuuuge fan following all over the world. You just need to see their facebook page, and their youtube page to see the weight of my words.  
 
Anyhow, Janice is engaged to her lovely and very funny man, Sung...and for one beautiful afternoon in spring, we had so much fun running together through a gorgeous estate (which co-incidentally, after all our planning and location suggestions, happened to be the place they had their first date! Talk about serendipity, and things that are just 'meant to be'..) which had these amazing enchanting looking gardens, laughing away til the sun went down. Janice and Sung... you two are so very sweet, warm, thoughtful, kind and altogether just such a delight. I really consider it a blessing from God to have been invited into your lives to celebrate such a special time in your journey, and even more so to be able to document it in pictures.  
 
I hope you love these frames as much as we do :)
