What a dream it is to finally be able to share these images with all of you! Well, at least part 1 of it anyway :)

Not long ago, I teamed up with the lovely people mentioned above for a collaborative styled shoot in Kuala Lumpur. To inspire and show brides and grooms out there that it is possible to have a garden wedding in an indoor setting. That's right, to be able to have all that lush greenery and beautiful florals, without the worry of rain, or heat, and still have it looking as pretty as a garden wedding outdoors.

It was then that we decked out the Beautiful Glasshouse venue (link above) which is flooded with the most amazing natural light, with an array of candles, and fairylights to add to the romantic ambience. Combine that with the decision to go with vibrant florals (to show brides that it is possible to to have flowers that pop in color while still remaining timeless and elegant).

I'm so happy with the way these images tuned out! I literally had 4 hours to shoot about 7 'settings' that were deisgned and styled by Mint Events that day, so while a little nutty, the results were so worth it! I hope you love the pictures as much as I do, and scroll down to the very bottom for some behind the scenes footage + a sneak peek into Part 2 of this shoot :D
AND... lastly.... here is a little something special to end with :) A small highlight reel of all the behind the scenes work that went into this shoot that was done for us by Nigel Sia Visual Storytelling! In it, you'll also see a sneak peek to the second part of the shoot, which I'll share on the blog next!! Part TWO is coming! :D Stay tuned....

Editorial Style Shoot: Mad for Mod

So, this session on the blog today is a little different from the norm :) If you don't know this about me already, I'm not normally a fan of all things 'cute' and 'pink', but when you have a lady like Lina from Chanele Rose Flowers & Styling heading the shoot, you know that the end result will be nothing short of amazing and fabulous. So when she asked if I would want to photograph her next project which was filled with 1960s mod inspiration, vintage prettiness, and the most incredible florals, I couldn't be more thrilled and excited to be behind the camera making gorgeous photos for her!! :)

After a full day out with crazy winds, 5 models, and way too much prettiness to list out, these were the frames that resulted. Thank you SO MUCH Lina, for trusting me with this. I know how precious this project was to you, and I was truly honored to be the one creating these final images :)

Featured: Wedding UK July 2013

I
'm sorry to those readers who have wondered where I've been. IF I am ever quite on the blog, it means that I'm either going crazy shooting and editing, or I'm actually really sick. The past couple of months included both, and it was really tough on all counts as I don't get sick leave, or anything like that. But that story will come later. This blog will slowly come to life in the next few weeks sometime, but for now, words cannot express how EXCITED and THRILLED I am to share with you the news that the photos from our Enchanted Garden Shoot have been published in the UK!! And in a magazine I have been such a big fan of for years - Wedding Magazine :D

Thank you SO much Wedding Magazine for featuring the photos - it means so much to little artists like ourselves. And to my amazing team who worked on this shoot with me (read all about them in the Enchanted Garden Shoot blog post of mine), I love you all so much :) You're all amazingly talented and beautiful people inside as well :) You make a girl like myself feel incredibly blessed and fortunate to have met such wonderful souls.

xoxo
Have a great rest of the weekend everyone! I'm slowly playing the catch up game, so bear with me :)

We've had to keep it under wraps for months and months as a result of the magazine feature, but we can finally release these images and share with you this project of love that took us about 3 months to plan and roll out.
