Yay! We're finally back peeps!! And with a FULL picture post for you as well :) And a long one at that, to make up for the long long drought that has been hovering over the JSP blog. I've been beyond busy and this year's spring peak season has done more than exhaust me through and through, so I'm really sorry I've been away from the blogosphere... BUT.... I hoep this post makes up for it a tiny little bit :) I'm SO thrilled and excited to introduce this pair to you all... If you remember Sonia and Andy from earlier this year, they got engaged, and then married, and their faces were sprinkled all over this site. Well... now its Sonia's sister's turn - Janice! And, if you are wondering why Janice looks JUST like Sonia - it's because they are twin sisters, and together they make up the amazing musical duo JAYESSLEE :) For those that are unfamiliar with Jayesslee, they have taken the world by storm this past year and have such a huuuuuuge fan following all over the world. You just need to see their facebook page, and their youtube page to see the weight of my words.  
 
Anyhow, Janice is engaged to her lovely and very funny man, Sung...and for one beautiful afternoon in spring, we had so much fun running together through a gorgeous estate (which co-incidentally, after all our planning and location suggestions, happened to be the place they had their first date! Talk about serendipity, and things that are just 'meant to be'..) which had these amazing enchanting looking gardens, laughing away til the sun went down. Janice and Sung... you two are so very sweet, warm, thoughtful, kind and altogether just such a delight. I really consider it a blessing from God to have been invited into your lives to celebrate such a special time in your journey, and even more so to be able to document it in pictures.  
 
I hope you love these frames as much as we do :)

Just a last side note. Thank you to everyone who has been sharing our images. So here's the story peeps! We literally have THREE (yes, 3!!!) blog posts sitting here all done up and ready... sadly, we can't release them all at once, but we're kicking things off with this sweet shoot :)  
 
Meet David and Casey :)  
 
For those that don't know already, David is the other resident photographer at JSP, besides myself and Vincy, and while he is the newest member of our small little family, he's made quite a spot for himself in the team! Anyhow, it's exciting to finally be able to introduce a face to the name (as many of you have asked!), and what is EVEN more exciting, is that we get to introduce to you his gorgeous and SUPER lovely fiance, Casey as well :D 
 
Although at the time of this shoot, she didn't know she was officially going to become his future Mrs!! :) We basically told her this was just going to be a sweet little love shoot for her and David at the BEAUTIFUL estate of Summerlees, but behind the scenes David was cooking up a plan with Vincy and myself to surprise her with a proposal!! And while it rained and rained and rained all day on their shoot, I don't think it dampened the mood, nor took away the smiles that were on these two lovebirds faces.  
 
David and Casey, thank you SO much for letting me be a part of this journey.. not just as your photographer, but also your friend. I hope you find a place for these images in your heart, and I hope they bring back a little slice of joy in the years to come if you ever take a walk down memory lane :)

Just a little update from me everyone! :) 
 
I know I've been SUPER quiet on this blog, and just everywhere in general... I'm in the THICK of peak season, with back to back shoots pretty much everyday at the moment. Which means my days consist of waking up, prepping for shoots, driving (ALOT of driving), shooting, more driving (back home), and pretty much sleeping til I have to get up for the next shoot. I promise I am not sitting around with huge amounts of spare time doing nothing.  
 
To top things off, we are without our main office computers which means post production of images has been paused until we get them back :( They've been sent into the Apple hospital to get repaired due to a defect in that particular line of iMacs that was unaware to us and out of our control.... words cannot describe how heart broken I was to wake up one morning and realize the computers would not turn on anymore despite them being top of the line units and fairly new! I've managed to get a temporary unit to work on, but it is nowhere near as fast as the ones I'm used to working on, so I hope you all bear with me. It pains me to know I can't do much! 
 
The good news is, we've still been able to get out and about to make pretty images... and that's what I'll leave you with today until we're back on our feet here at JSP. Just a little bit of spring magic that was cooked up recently :)
